Introduction
My name is Jo Biddulph and I live and work in the City of London, and practise in Islington and around the City. I come from a corporate background, having worked for over twelve years mentoring, supporting and training staff; as well as providing counselling support following redundancy. In addition I have provided counselling support for a national children's charity and a number of other charitable agencies including The Samaritans.
Having spent most of my professional and personal life trying to encourage and empower others to fulfil their true potential, I see my role as a therapist as an obvious extension of this. I have a genuine desire to help relieve suffering and in training to be a therapist I believe I have found useful tools which could help you to achieve real, permanent and positive change in your life.
My approach
I am a person centred counsellor, which means that your beliefs and expectations are central to the therapy I provide and I will adapt my treatment plans to your individual needs.
I have an integrated approach, which means I am not bound to a specific counselling discipline and can draw upon a range of tools and techniques to find those that are most suited to you.
My aim is to help you dissolve barriers and blockages that are preventing you from living the life you desire; by facilitating positive change. I believe that you have the innate potential to understand yourself and resolve your inner turmoil and it is my job to help you discover how.
