Psychotherapy

Psychotherapy is a process used by a trained professional to help empower you to find new, effective ways of coping with challenging situations. It is often referred to as "talking therapy", as this is the primary method of communication used to explore your own unique view of the world.

Psychotherapy provides a safe environment for you to discuss and examine your issues, whilst being guided and supported by an experienced counsellor. A therapist may use questioning, sensitive challenging, observations as well as reframing the context and content of your issues to present a balanced and objective view point. You will then be shown how to apply relevant techniques to help resolve your difficulties.
